Covid Green Certificate

General information about the Covid Green Certificate (so-called Green Pass) in Italy

Information about the so-called Green Pass “rafforzato” or “Super Green Pass”

A “Green Pass rafforzato” or “Super Green Pass”, for the Italian law, is a Covid-19 Certificate obtained after vaccination or recovery from Covid-19.

From 6th December 2021 to 15th January 2022, to attend to ceremonies and events open to the public, all external guests must have and show at the entrance a valid Covid-19 Vaccination or Recovery Certificate (above-mentioned “Green Pass Rafforzato” or “Super Green Pass”). Children under 12 years old and people who have a valid "Certification of exemption from anti-COVID-19 vaccination" (issued in accordance with the Circular of the Ministry of Health of 04.08.2021), will be allowed to attend to ceremonies and events even without a Green Pass.

It will not be possible to attend to ceremonies and events with the Green Pass obtained after the negative result of a rapid antigen or molecular swab test.

Workers and Students of Politecnico will still be allowed to enter the campuses and attend to ceremonies and events with the certificates currently used (i.e. the Covid-19 Certificate obtained with vaccination, recovery or negative swab test result, or Certification of exemption).

For example:

  • To attend to degree ceremonies: all guests must have and show a Green Pass “rafforzato”; graduating students, supervisors and members of staff can access with a generic Green Pass.
  • To attend to events and conferences: external lecturers and attendees must have and show a Green Pass “rafforzato”; PoliTo lecturers and attendees, as well as the members of staff can access with a generic Green Pass.

Important! The following information is made available by the Italian Government and by other bodies responsible for vaccinations and issuing the Green Pass. Politecnico is not involved in the procedures.

You can use a Green Pass obtained in the following countries:

  • San Marino (until 31 December 2021)
